This is a Texas buck at a oaf bedding area. Two steps and he is gone.

Thanks for looking at my picture and for any comment.

Hey Jack,

So...been wondering this for awhile so I'll just ask - why are you posting such small images? At 400 pixels (the width of your shot above) it's almost impossible to make an image really shine or for a viewer to really have a shot at assessing it well enough to meaningfully critique it (things like image sharpness or image noise are completely "masked" when an image is reduced to this size). Similarly your larger photo is only 700 pixels wide - 20 pixels narrower than allowed for the "standard" sized image (and, to a slightly lesser degree, it presents the same difficulties to one trying to critique it). Anyway...not a problem...just some feedback...

I like the "layers" of this image and where the impressive buck is positioned within those layers. The lighting is a tad harsh but interesting, and you certainly did expose the image well. For the reasons mentioned in the previous paragraph I can't say anything about sharpness of the shot. Your crop works well for me.

Cheers...thanks for sharing this one...

Brad

Nice pose from this buck and I like the layered colors in the background.
