The BWT males are starting to look pretty nice around here. Hopefully they will start flying around more as the winter progresses. Still very few doing much flying making getting dynamic in-flight shots of these guys difficult. Please view larger version for max details.

I like this Ron, especially the angle that the bird is point more toward you. This is minor, but you might want to consider cloning or blending out the greenish blob in the BG, left side to match the rest. Again, minor but it draws my eye there. :toast:

Great view of this duck Ron - coming toward you at an angle at eye level with wonderful eye contact. Exposure looks good and I like the interesting background. Nice wing position to show the colors. Well done.

Very nice, Ron. I especially like the direction of flight and the fact that we can see detail in the whites of the wing. The far wing seems a little less sharp than the near wing: perhaps a DOF effect. I wonder if a bit of extra sharpening of that wing would help. :toast:

looks great, Ron. nice angle and wing position on the bird, interesting bg, and the comp is just right.

now that you've got the 1D4, I'm wondering if you're thinking about trying out the 2x TC (or waiting for the new one)?

Hello Ron.

Superb flight shot and excellent detail on the bird, but I have to say that background for me is just as nice and love the colours.

Sweet shot! Wonderful details in this bird, and a great job controlling exposure and not blowing out the white eye stripe. Having him moving towards you at this angle is a big plus as well.

Great looking flight shot, Ron. You have some gorgeous colours running through the entire image. Wish we had this species here in the UK.

Ron, this is terrific. The colored bg really enhances the already colorful bird. Nice flight pose.

Excellent - I'm doing well if I can get an image of a duck sitting on the water, you ducks in flight are most impressive Ron. Lovely background colours too.
