I got sidetracked photographing some falls so I barely had time to set this up before the sun set behind the mountain.I spent a fair bit of time snapping shots of waves after the sun set(a first time for me) and will get to them when I get a chance. I also discovered that my boots are no longer waterproof!

Outstanding composition, especially for being on the fly!
Sharp from fore to aft, and the hint of sunstar is just about perfect. Well seen and captured!

Oh, yeah...where is this place?

Nice use of the water as a leading line into the sunset. The water motion is great!

Dean,

Excellent use of the wide angle composition. I really like the proportions and how you emphasized the rock and wave line interaction. The cresting of the sun, the mountain range and sky are simply excellent compliments to a well balanced scene. No nits from me, well done! :toast:

I know how you feel Dean, I get side tracked a lot when I get out in the field. Nice shutter speed on the crashing wave and coloured rocks. The sun beam over the mountain and on the the cloud are a great addition to the background, I could see pulling a touch more saturation out on this photo. SO much fun when you first realize that, that is water in your boot and not that your feet were cold. Cheers

Nice composition with the water's edge leading to the rising sun. I also like the water action in the foreground.

Excellent composition , cloud triangle came very handy to complete it. I like your choice of the shutter speed, perfect for the waves speed.
