Christmas post
by David Sewell
As this is almost certainly my last post before Christmas, at least in this forum, I would like to take the opportunity to wish you all a merry Christmas, and a peaceful and prosperous new year. I would also like to thank the many people who have commented on my pictures over the course of 2010. Even if I do keep on making the same mistakes, I do appreciate all the good advice I have had on this site.
A special thank you to John Robinson, without whom this shot would not have happened! John posting a few shots recently. taken out of his upstairs window, made me think of trying the same idea. Our upstairs window is only marginally higher than the back fence, so I have been at a good level for birds visiting our feeders. I might have liked a little more snow in the background than I got here, but opportunities for robins in snow in good light are few and far between, even with conditions as they are at present.
Best wishes to you and yours,
David
