Nice shot of the bird in its environement. Great scenery and colors. Too bad that shadow just on the breast, but nothing you could do to avoid it...
Luca, you should attend this gallery more often
Cheers.

Luca,
I think this nice bird is Chaffinch, in italian fringuello. Beautiful setting for this guy even if the shadow of the branch darkens a little the bird's breast. Very nice image and Merry Christmas you too. :wavey:

I love all that frost. The shadow doesn't bother me much because the head is still well lit. Glad that Monica knew the type of bird because I would have no idea. A pleasing image to look at.

Nice image. Great frost on the limb. The bird appears to be trying to hide just a bit. Very sweet.

Great habitat shot, love the frosty limbs that frame the bird so well.
Well done & Merry Christmas!

Ciao Luca ,
very nice image , especially for the great frosty setting. I also like the decentralized composition . I agree that it is a Chaffinch ( It.Fringuello - Fringilla Coelebs ) .
Merry Christmas you too .

The snowy setting is very nice Luca and I like where you've placed the bird in the frame. I do wish that the tip of the beak weren't obscurred by the frost. You should post here more often.

This has a very nice wintery feel to it Lucas. The shadow really isn't a big issue for me but I also wish the tip of the bill were not obscurred.
