Snow Bunting

1D Mk iv, 600mm f4, 1/800s, f4.5, iso 400.

Gale, -13 degrees, intermittent blizzards. Got to feel sorry for these, foraging in about 6 feet of snow. Seem to be doing alright though. Wish I could say the same for the photographer

Update: I wonder if there is a pink/magenta cast to this, but nothing I do seems to change it. I suppose it could just be the prevailing conditions?

The colours look about right to me. -13? I am complaining about -7. Obviously I am just a soft southerner.

Hi Ian, there is a hint as you say, try reducing the red channel in Curves with a mask, it might help. Canon does tend to add a fraction more Yellow & Red, Nikon goes Blue/Green. Would suggest a bit of 'gardening' and remove the scrub in the BG?

Hi Ian , the cast is slightly magenta .
Go image> adjustments > selective colour >colours > whites and drag the magenta down a touch..
Hope this helps ... oh and Boots are doing lemsip at half price for your impending flu...

Many thanks Mark - wish I had learned that a long time ago! (Actually, I probably did and have forgotten - along with plenty other things over the past year  )
