Hawfinch
Not out of the room window this time, - through the bedroom window.
Taken last week on an apalling day. Got a few shots. This was one of the first.
Quite a large crop as the bird was small in frame.Nice record though if nothing else.

neat image.

Super shot, John. I only ever see these at the very tops of the trees. Are there any species you don't have visiting your garden

I would rate this as more than a record shot, John. Personally, I would be delighted to get any shot of a hawfinch.

Might be a large crop but it is still a very nice image.
I've still not even seen a hawfinch never mind got a decent image of one.

Oh well, I suppose it'll have to do then
You lucky so and so, I'd love to see one of these beauties.
Well done John.

That is just showing off !

That magic pool is even pulling these down from the tree tops.

Great to see John and thanks for sharing.

Cheers
