I've been so busy this fall. I had very good intentions of participating on a more regular basis but life keeps getting in the way!!! How do you all do it??? Anyway, I had some free time this afternoon so I wanted to post at least one more before the New Year! Thank you all for being a part of my life and giving me the joy of photography! May you all have Happy Holidays and New Year...see you in 2011 (and I hope to be better about participation!!!) :wavey:

Happy Holidays and the very best in 2011 to you and yours Beth. This is superbly crafted image IMHO.
I like everything about but particularly how the main trunks and branches come through to give structure and strengh but don't overwhelm the image. Great job.

I agree with Bob about the trunks and branches, and I love the light and colors. This is beautiful.

Beth:
This is a very interesting image with much to explore. Like the warm colors and especially the dotted white on the right half.
Happy holidays to you and may 2011 be a better photographic year.

Beth: Well seen and composed. I like this as is and that this is an image that you could do a lot of different things with. I can see one with boosted contrast and saturation, an ortonized version and maybe even B&W. Well done and Merry Christmas to you and your family. >=))>

The same thoughts and wishes back to you Beth. I'm glad to see you post whenever you get a chance.

Love this. Superb composition, interesting textures and the diagonal light and color gradient adds a lot of energy to it I think. Beautiful image, superb work.

Really amazing textures in this image, Beth, and a composition which works so well, as Bob has suggested. Hope to see more of you next year !!

There is a lot to observe and enjoy in this image, Beth. The soft subtle light is perfect for bringing out the lush details in this woodland scene. Did you use a slight orton effect here? I love this! Happy holidays to you also.
