1D Mk iv, 600mm f4 is, 12mm extension tube, 1/160s, f5, iso 800, fill-flash -2.66. NR to background.

Another from my trip with Neil McIntyre. These are great fun to try to capture as they are incredibly fast, and, of course tiny!

These are great guys Ian, and dam fast too. Not sure if it's the flash that has flattened the detail in the chest as the eye & beak look like they are on the same plain, perhaps it's just DOF? These trees give great texture & colour.

Is this recent, as I need to talk to Neil and not sure what the conditions are like there, bet he is nicely tucked up in that warm cottage. :wink:

Yes I agree with Steve the detail in the chest area does seem flat. Nice detail in the head though and shows the crest off nicely Ian. :toast:
