A repost of this hummingbird hawkmoth (Macroglossa stellatarum) -
Following your advices I decided to make some extra pp to this picture (actually the latter is a different shot of the sequence, but IMO has nicer wing shape)
Nikon d90- nikkor 300mm f4 - ISO 200- F5- 1/1000- tripod
Sunny day, afternoon

An excellent shot with a good BG. Balancing this is tricky, but my instinct would be a move of the whole subject to the right.

definitely an improvement to the first post.
Less distraction and I think the position is fine.
I like the colours and the background too.
