Red Fox (Vulpes vulpes) - Essex

Nikon D3, 200-400/f4, WH2 + Gitzo 3530LSV.
Manual exposure mode f4.5, 1/500, iso 1600.
RAW image processed in Capture One; sharpened in Photoshop CS5; noise reduction using Noiseware Professional; full frame.

Another image from last week. Somehow the white balance got changed from Auto to Cool White Fluorescent so the original RAW file looks pretty funky.

Gorgeous looking animal . The fur a touch over in the reds perhaps but to get him full stride like this takes some doing. Sterling image .

A red fox in pure white snow is something special, Dont get reds where i live and very little snow-didnt think i missed the UK until now
