For me to capture wildflowers is always a challenge coz i like to photograph them in creative way rather then documentary type (& that's a real steep ask) coz i feel only then can u complement these beauties of Nature, i remember spending nearly 20 to 25 mins of back bending & frustration to get a proper bunch for this kinda of composition but after doing that i was blessed with this (1 of my favorites) but i dont know wot others think of this

Flower Name :- White Sky Flower (Duranta erecta 'Alba')
Av - 6.3, Tv - 60, ISO - 100, 100mm, Tripod

C & C welcomed! :wavey:

Krunal: Hard to know how to frame and crop flowers like this but your comp here works very well for me. Nicely done.>=))>

This works very well for me . . . to be honest, 20-25 minutes is pretty much par for the course for me in trying to get a macro or flower shot just right. I've spent far longer at times too, sometimes only to wind up with a shot that doesn't quite work for me once I look at it back at home!

Good choice of composition. I agree with the amount of time it takes to get the focus and comp you want in flower photography, especially when you don't cut them and bring them to a controlled environment. Your presentation is top notch. :toast:

Krunal,

I like this very much with the exception of the vertical black space in the viewer's upper right. I'd probably clone some or all of it out and maybe do a little work on all the spaces in that corner. I understand how difficult these shots are and how challenging the composition is. Extremely well done as posted.

Krunal:
Nice presentation. Yes flora can be challenging to compose in a creative and refreshing way that is not just documentary.
