We had an incredible sunset last night and the colors just stuck around for lots of opportunites. This is the first, and this frame stood out from the others with as the quality of light was really nice and the sun became slightly diffused for a few seconds.

Cool colors, Todd. I know this place VERY well and you did a great job capturing it. I like how dark and moody the foreground is.

Really love the light and the foreground textures. Oranges and yellows near the sun seem a bit over saturated on my monitor but make for some good colors in the water.

Really nice perspective and I like the textures... yellows look a little hot and oversaturated to me, especially when compared to the reflections on the water but that's minor.

Todd,

This is one terrific composition. The reflected blues captured in the cool patterns of the foreground rock are wonderful. The lead-in lines pulling the viewer in to the frame and the proportion of sky is just excellent here.

My only beef is the saturation is a bit much for my tastes. The blue end of things not so bad, but the yellow/red/orange along the horizon is where I see to much saturation. Otherwise, you've got a killer image working here.

Other than the colors being a bit muted  , this is superb. I love that foreground, and the channel leads to the nuclear explosion rather nicely.

Superb comp, the red/orange in the sky appears to be a little oversaturated, but still a very nice shot.

Hi Todd, This is uber-fantastic, the foreground is grogeous and full of detail, the color is fantastic and the flow of the image makes it a pleasure to see. Congrats I like seascapes and this made me smile!

Thanks everyone, I'll be adjusting the colors for the print file, it does look a little saturated in the compressed file

The foreground is superb but I'm not too keen on the processing on the sky.
Well captured.
