This photo was taken in late September on the Salmon River in northern New York. I'm still processing some of them...besides typical processing I used reduced opacity poster edges and watercolor filters on this one. Larger version included.

Thanks for looking, C&C welcome.

Hi Ron, beautiful scene and good composition. The red bush on the right and the bits of red throughout the image help guide the eye around. I'm curious as to why you wanted to set this up with poster edges and watercolor. Was it necessary?

Cheers,

Carol

Nice photo and I like your processing. The moving water, the rocks and the colors are beautiful.

Beautiful RC thanks for including the larger version because it really shows off what you have done.

Thanks for the feedback and comments. Carol - Well, the image is always available as a "straight" version, but when I completed the normal processing it lacked a couple of things that I thought would work better with some filter treatment; namely the color contrast and dynamics, and the ability to enhance the reflection in the water with texturing - which was moving toward being painterly - so I helped it along.
