Love your comp Sharon. Perch is nice and the BG is very complimentary to the bird. Bird is tack sharp. To me the reds are almost looking orange. Maybe back off on the desaturation a bit. Overall a great shot. Well done.

I really like the simple uncluttered background and perch for this bird. The head is tack sharp but the back and tail look just slightly softer on my monitor, perhaps a bit more dof? Well done over all!

Sweet image, Sharon. Great job on the reds. If you have any room on the left, it might be nice to give the tail a bit more room, but it's a lovely Cardinal, regardless. :toast:

Really nice!!
Good comp, pose, and perch.
The reds DO look just a bit orange-ish from here, too.

Nice view of this Cardinal. I won't dispute if these reds are accurate as red seems to be a difficult color for many DSLR cameras. I have found there is no single definitive red for cardinals as the varying light effects the shades of red. To me it boiles down to is the red acceptable or not and it is in this case.

Sharon,
the pose, the perch and the background are great. I'd prefer a bit more room on the left.
Very nice image. :toast:

Sharpness looks good Sharon and I like the stump perch and the clean background. Not sure what the broad, wavy, horizontal lighter colored band is at the top of the frame - cloning? or perhaps just something unusual and OOF in the background.

The bird is nice and sharp particularly on the head and the reds look fine to me. I wonder if a horizontal crop might have worked better here but he may have been too tight in the frame for that. :toast:

Very nice. My favorite bird with a nice pose, cool perch and nice BG. Color looks good to me.
