A beautifully cold morning, complete with a dusting of snow (on right), a great stream, and a nice sunrise through the trees.
D-60, ISO-100, 1.6 seconds, f-13.0, 18mm, CPL. Thanks for any C&C, larger posted.

Bill,
I sent you an e-mail regarding this but for the reading pleasure of others I think this is a great shot (a really great location) and the starburst through the trees is a really nice addition and balances it out well. A contrast boost to the whole image (the water in particular) will do wonders for this image.... hope to see a re-post

I am STILL many times uncertain how far to push an image in processing, as it often looks overdone on my monitor, then ends up being a bit flat or soft on here. So thankfully, Luke Ormond was kind enough to give this a proper PS-ing and improving it greatly IMHO. I just did a tiny contrast/brightness adjustment as well, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Thanks so much Luke for the advice and help!

Thanks Luke, me thinks too. Let me see, it was shot somewhere in a remote part of southwest eastern Europe!
