Many people have asked me if I used HDR for this image. I did not, I used Nik softwear.

Very nice scene. The colors and the sky in particular have a bit of an HDR look. Sounds like you had a great time.

I don't get the HDR references here. If anything, the scene looks like it had more dynamic range than could be captured w/o blown highlights and blocked up shadows? Nice scene though...
