Gull w/ Crab Dinner

I haven't been doing much shooting lately, I have a few trips coming up so I'm looking forward to that. So here's another from the files on the Washington coast. The gull is a Western x Glaucous-winged hybrid feeding on a Dungeness Crab (which I can attest are quite tasty). It's cropped to about 52% of FF.

The larger version is awesome Nate. Love the action with all the water and the crab. I can see the pupil in the eye, so no catchlight is not an issue here. Nice comp with sand and water. Sharp shot.

The sharpness of this very interesting behavior shot is what I think is really outstanding, Nate. Your choice of camera settings very successfully froze motion throughout the whole scene while giving us a sharp view of bird, crab and water splash. You surely caught this bird in a great pose too!

The splashing water, flapping wings and running feet with the crab in bill all come together.
