The Day is Done
by Greg Lessard
Bar Harbor, Maine is a fantastic place to visit particularly at sunset. Fishing villages are as synonomous to the charatcer of New England as are covered bridges, white steepled churches and the ever changing weather. Bar Harbor is a classic summer tourist destination, but it had its start as a working fishing village. While the tourists come in droves, the fisherman still quietly ply their trade, often unnoticed by the millions of summer visitors.

Thank you for the kind words! Bernard is one of my favorites too.
You may not be aware, but you and I have a mutual friend. Her name is Carol. She also goes by "Abby" in the Vermont foliage forum. She and I seem to shoot the same places all the time. Eventually we crossed paths at the same time. She can't say enough good things about you! I hope we'll continue to cross paths in this forum.
Take care,
Greg
