North Rim

This is from Cape royal, on the north rim of the Grand Canyon. I added a slight tone for a more artsy look to the Image. The horizon looks off but my camera was level. I think the plateau slopes a little. Thanks for looking. C&C always welcome.

Kyle- While I've never been a big fan of the sepia tinting, I do like the composition. I think I am just used to the classic B&W toning, just personal preference. Regarding the horizon, I would try straightening out some, as viewers will often be thrown off a bit by this, even if indeed is tilted in reality. I think the eye expects a staighter horizon and the image would be more harmonious that way - just don't want to make the other aspects look like they are going downhill!

Nice job, Harry

A beautiful scene, and the composition is excellent. While this lends itself well to b&w, I would lower the opacity of the toning here as I feel it's a bit heavy handed. Even though your camera was level, the perception of a tilt is slighty discomfiting. I would straighten the horizon were I you.
Regardless, this is a wonderful and original scene. You did a great job capturing it!

I love the intensity and contrast of the FG elements! The toning works for me. :toast:
