This is in the Texas Hill Country and the bucks are just now going into the rut. This buck had just checked out this doe and another buck was headed their way. More to come of the rut activity.

Thanks for looking at my picture and for any comment.

Very nice! I love the low angle, its what really makes the shot IMO. :toast:

The view of his head and shoulders is nice and crisp and in decent light. I am wishing for some space between his hind quarters and the oof doe. I bet they gave you some other clicks, however.

Lovely low view point, agree some more separation between the two would have been nice but this works well as is :toast:

Hi Jack,

My comments are similar to those of the others - like the low angle, but would wish for a little more separation between the buck and doe. I've noticed that the "standard" sized images you've been posting are smaller than the 720 pixel limit. While that's totally fine to do, it can prevent your images from "shining" as well as they could if you posted closer to the allowable limit. Just an FYI...

Cheers...thanks for sharing this...

Again, a bit more separating, and I would maybe brighten the mids a touch.

Looks like fun. LIke the way the buck is coming out of the tall grass. Great light as well.
