Mangrove & Moon I

I am always fascinated by the Mangrove & its shape. Located near the coast of the Red Sea, this tree was far from the rest, so I was able to isolate it through this very low angle and the Moon was great addition to the whole frame. I used f/5 to through the background out of focus (something I rarely do). Hope I succeeded.

The tree is a great shape and the light is nice too.

A most aptly titled photograph. These are definitely interesting tress and the comp works in its simplicity.

Very nice light on the foreground tree. The low tide gives a very simplistic composition, which is nice. I'm not 100% sure about the placement of the moon though. I wonder if a step to the right would have placed it toward the right of the tree, so that the two dominant branches would be reaching for it, and calling attention to it. This of course would shift the background a bit as well, which might be why this composition was not possible.

Mohsen,

The light is beautiful here and I like how the tree just seems to absorb the sky. The moon is a nice addition. The only thing I'm wishing for is some earth shadow color transitioning to the blue - but oh well, we can't have it all.

I really like the compostion and the tree. I wonder how this would look in B&W since there are some strong constrasts. Well done.
