I've been obsessed with the fall landscapes lately so here's one with the bird in context. From Caddo Lake.

Thats a beautiful image, David. The GE is perfectly placed within the image and with the subject small in the frame, it certainly has it's merrits. A stand out image IMO.

Perfect placement for the Egret David. Again the detail in the tree/background is amazing.

Wow. When I saw the thumbnail I thought this image was in the wrong gallery. This is really nice. What a great environmental shot of this egret. The background is great. Feels like water falls frozen in motion. I'll bet this would make a wonderful large fine art print.

Very nice bird in habitat shot. The moss and the rusty colors against the dark BG really look nice.

A very striking and unusual image. Not everyone would have spotted this opportunity to combine distant landscape and bird but I think this works very well. The colours are very attractive. Graham

Stunning David! This kind of setting always looks so exotic to me. This must be a feast for the eyes as a large print.

Spectacular. I have been enjoying your fall series and hoped that you might get a shot like this including an egret or heron. Congrats on another excellent shot.
