Bass Harbor Light, Bass Harbor, Maine.

I was fortunate to visit this iconic lighthouse during mid tide at a beautiful sunset. The light was reflected in the tidal pool below it. Bass Harbor Light is part of Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island. I can not think of a more serene place to be at sunset.

Excellent! Getting the top of the lighthouse to reflect in that pool just perfectly is inspired! Wonderful colors, comp, and exposure.

Very nice reflection, Greg. I think Rich Ennis who is a regular here got a similar shot a few years back. I was at this light twice in 2009, in the afternoon and in the morning. Didn't get a reflection op like this one.
