Hey Randy,
Its definitely worth checking out the larger version as the smaller one doesn't do much here. The warm light really plays with the shapes and lines of the cypress. I don't always suggest it but I would be really curious to see what some orton would do here. I think if you balance the sharpness along with some blur (orton) it might be very appealing. Each would be different and the original has nice strong contrasts too.

That early morning light at LM can be intense. I have a feeling this needs to be seen larger to get any of the detail that may be in the deep shadow areas.

Love the light and the colors. Nice textures. Wish it was bigger.

Nice shot, Randy. The low, warm light is beautiful, and the reflections are perfect. It would be nice if the two main fg trees could be separated from the bg as everything seems to meld together here... perhaps lightening the fg trees or darkening or blurring the bg... something to create some separation.

This is nice. Intimate comp, nice light, though the black seem just a bit dense. Both here and the larger version could be larger, you know.

Randy,
I too really like the light and warm colors. Definitely need to post a larger original and a larger, "larger view" for us to be able to enjoy and critique this.
And because of the small size I was going to comment on the somewhat busy nature of this. The reflection looks intriguing and I'd like to see more of it. I do think the upper is a bit busy, only saved by the nice light.
