Not so sure of the exact name of this body of water, but on our return home from Acadia NP in October, this lovely area was a must stop. The foliage was so so...so I went with the BW conversion. Love to hear your thoughts. Thanks for looking.

Gorgeous reflection Mitch, and this works so well in B&W. I noticing all the trees appear to be leaning - is that real or distortion; looks distorted. I wonder if using the distort filter in PS would help. Nicely done.

Nice reflection and placement of the horizon line in the frame. This is great in B&W. The distortion doesn't really bother me.

Well done! I noticed the distortion as well. I would try the distortion correction, but balance it against the loss of real estate. The lean is not distracting. and only noticeable in the small trees.

The apperent leaning is bothering me, but this is a superb idea and execution. Symmetry on both sides - love it

Mitch

Terrific "reflectionscape." What a great sky and clouds and I think you've composed and balanced this perfectly. They only suggestion I have is a slight boost in contrast - especially in the sky where a deep red filter in traditional b&w film photography would have been awesome.

Very minor, but I think also this could use a slight cw rotation.

That is one killer sky and reflection, Mitch. Great call on the B&W conversion and I love the symmetry in this beautiful scene. :toast:

I love it Mitch, nice B&W. Agreed it appears to need a CW rotation to my eye. :toast:

Great shot. BW definitely the right choice, my only suggestion is a bit more contrast.
