Thanks for the feedback on the previous post. I have gone back and make another stack image. It was a real pain as this is near 1:1 and almost full frame. My back and legs were really sore after getting the two anthers to align and taking a series shots.

D90 105mm+ET F4 1/50sec tripod, stack of 5 images; CS5 stacking. C&C appreciated.

I like the non-symmetrical look of this and the detail. Lovely colors as well.

I really enjoy this one! Great stacking job and wonderful position of the anthers in the frame.
I have often thought there should be a yoga class for photographers...

I liked the last one better, Gary. In spite of your hard work.

BTW, what type of Extension tubes do you use?

Thanks,

Carol

I'd say your work paid off Gary. For my tastes this is superb - much stronger than the first image.

Ooh...This is superb, Gary. I'm sure the pain is long gone and aren't you happy you did it  Fantastic...the stack is just right. Love the color and the anthers really pop against the bg.

Great isolation of those frilly things. Looks good to me, although I would need a larger version to be certain (hint). Nice presentation Gary :toast:

Gary, of the three images of the Dianthus anthers, this one is my favorite. Here is all splendid: anthers, background and forground. Beautiful!
Take care.
