A Green-veined White butterfly taken in the meadow outside my home.

The ground was boggy so I just held out my hands and used the live-view to frame and focus.

Sony A350
Tamron 90mm macro
1/320th second
f8
ISO 400
-0.3 stop exposure compensation
Centre-weighted metering
90mm
Hand held

Nice colors and details Geoff, I like the square crop. Good job keeping things sharp hand held.
Well done. :toast:

The subject is nice and sharp and I like the perch. The only nit is the OOF grass blade that cuts diagonally across the frame

Wonderful close up of this butterfly, I like the detail and pose, too bad about the OOF branch but good job with the colors, way to go.
