This was a cloudy morning with a little bit of sun coming through. It made for some nice, moody shots.

Nice exposure Carol. Nice detail too. Maybe just a bit more room on the left to get the bird's beak to point into the corner of the frame?

You've captured the long plumes well here, they add a lot to the image. The darkness of the photo and the birds posture help create the mood of this shot. I do find myself wanting a litle more brightness to the head and neck. Perhaps n extra dose of selective sharpening would do it. Still - very nice as presented.

Carol, perfect handling of the tough whites in a dark BG.
Nice pose and grreat colors.
I agree a bit more room on the left would improve this lovely shot even further.

Great image of this lovely bird. Like his pose. Plumage is well exposed. More room on the left would be preferable.
