Taken at Marloes in West Wales, UK.

We intended to go across to Skomer Island to photograph the Puffins this day but the boat didn't sail as there was bad weather due in the afternoon.
So we went to a nearby beach and used our 10 stop filters instead.

Sony A350
Sigma 10-20 EX

ISO 100

A very dramatic effect. I like the rich tones in your conversion.

Great capture Geoffrey. Love the tonal range and the effect of the long exposure. VERY well done! :toast:

This is super dramatic! Perfect for black and white as well. I love that burst of light in the sky!

Dramatic and moody seascape! I like the black/white convesion. B/w seascapes often have a particular appeal for me. This one too.

Very dramatic! Compositionally, my only critique is that it is quite heavy on the right. I'm wishing that there was more rock on the left to improve the balance.

Great use of long exposure. The translucent areas of the water really add a lot.
