This morning just after sunrise. Lake Livingston, TX

The sun made it to the bird before it made it to the far shore.

This really has some serious impact when you open it up!! A very dramatic image. I really like the way you handled the exposure. Nice image.

Really nice job on the exposure. I'm debating whether it would be improved by cropping a bit off the bottom (so the bird's not quite so centered vertically).

Nice graphic, minimalist shot. The bird glows. Personally I think it might be more effective as a pano crop.

I love it. This image is simple and powerful at the same time. Excellent job handling a tough exposure.

Angela, you and that 2x TC have done it again. I really like the comp, and the whites shine like a beacon here. Nice work.
ps, my tc is still on backorder. Beleive it?

Very dramatic Angela. I almost never like black backgrounds but this is a strong exception. Love the reflection and the light on the splash of water in front of the bird. Sure wish I could see a larger version like you usually post.
