Roaring Fork, Great Smokey Mountains NP

I shot this locale about 5 years ago and had some success but I wanted to revisit the site and incorporate some of the feedback I got from that first venture. I'm much more pleased with the shots from this session. There was a nice rain the night before so the stream was pretty full and rambunctious. All comments welcome.>=))>

The comp works well here Bill but I am really enjoying the moss covered rocks and golden glow of autumn in the background. Wonderful detail thoughout.

Bill, I really like this shot a lot , but it appears just a bit bright to me.

I am really liking this processing you are doing with this series. There's something very uplifting about the lightness. :toast:

Great shot Bill, the 'bridge' is a really interesting feature and all the elements are arranged nicely around it. Nice work.

Bill, I really liked this shot from the thumbnail and am not disappointed here! However, I do agree with the earlier comment about the brightness--the water in the BG especially to me is a bit blown, though I appreciate the comp flowing from brighter to darker. Anyway, just my two cents! :toast: Still a beauty.

I really like the composition and how the wooden trough leads into the image but the water and some background elements are slightly blow out. A stunning view, well seen.

This is a wonderful shot. You managed the color range really well here. The dark green Rhododendrons and the bright water and fall leaves make it tough to manage.

The water in the distance is slightly blown out and I would try and clone out that little twig to the left of the trough.

I like the shot. If I did anything I would darken the moss a little and darken the yellow leaves in the background.
