West Texas Javelina

A Javelina or a peccary are members of same family as pigs but are not pigs. They are found in the southwestern areas of North America and throughout Central and South America. They are considered pests in Texas because they multiply so fast and are destructive as they root around on the ground. This one posed quite nicely for me.

Cool image of this Javelina. Looks like you were pretty close. What were you THINKING?

These are feisty little creatures. I like the pose and the grasses in the BG.

Cool! Show us more! I like this pose but wish we could see a little more eye for a hint of reflection. Also, If the feet were more visible, I think it would be even better. The exposure and low perspective are very good.

Great pose and eye contact. I like the habitat shown as well, although I'm unsure about that green in the brc.
