I like it a lot, love the mostly OOF grasses and their repeating diminishing pattern. The blur effectively makes it very dreamy and pleasing to the eyes, and the earth tone color.... outstanding!
Very well done Doug!

Wonderful serene shot. Love the way the DOF "fades off" into the distance

I like this a lot Doug and I shoot grasses frequently without getting anything I like. My only suggestion and it's a nit would be to very lightly clone in some of the light wash over the dark area at the bottom and possibly in the viewer's upper left corner. My eye ends up following that dark bank through the image - maybe that's desirable but I'd probably at least see what I think once I de-emphasized it some. Love the image otherwise.

Lovely serene warm image, Doug. I'm in agreement about the bottom dark part being lighter but otherwise, very well executed.

Great Monochrome, Doug  . Like the many subtle "star bursts" in the frame.

Lovely cramming job, Doug. The softness with the wide aperture is quite appealing with these seed heads.

Cheers,

Thank you everyone for the suggestions. I lightened the dark areas a bit. Any more made it seem too washed out.

Doug,

I prefer the repost also. Perfect light touch on the rework - at least for my tastes.
