Taken a couple of weekends ago at one of West Virginia's more popular autumn locations. Thanks for looking.

That's absolutely gorgeous Daniel. I have some small reservations about that tree in the foreground on the left but I'm guessing that for this perspective you had no choice.

Thanks, guys. I also got a comp without the tree but this one has grown on me. Do you all agree with Kah about the tree being distracting?

Gerard, this is Babcock State Park.

What a beautiful scene. I could well image this with some fun post processing to turn it into a painting. It's nearly there just as it is. Very nice.

Dan, I like your composition here just fine. A different point of view than what I normally see of this mill. But I would love to see your other composition. Please post it for us to make a comparison.

Wonderful scene! Yes, I think the tree is a bit distracting. And on the other one, IMO you've included too much on the right and too little on the left. Would love to see more or less the same comp as the first picture without the tree. Maybe included a bit more of the autumn foliage? But, I wasn't there so it is easy for me to sit here and say "should'ave, could'ave" ;-)

Yep, an old classic. This is great, but IMHO, the tree in the left FG is a bit distracting. Since there is no clear connection between the FG and the BG via leading lines or some other clear element of continuity, it seems to be an obstacle. Just my 2 cents, great image anyway.
