this is a repost of the last image I posted. I appreciated all of the input from everyone. I have adjusted the exposure using levels and cropped from the top and left. I would appreciate more input. Thanks for all the help. All of the camera data is posted on the previous post.

IMHO this is fan inprovement over the original post. Attention is more focused on the pronghorn. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful pose and the repost does look better. It seems a teeny bit tight on the bottom.

Nice look at this pronghorn Richard. I think I would be tempted to live with a slightly tight crop and remove the trees from the top of the frame.

Hi Richard,

I was away for awhile and thus missed the previous post, but like what you've done here. I am in agreement with Matt's comment on considering removing the trees along the top of the image (but my preference is always for simple images with as few elements as possible). On my monitor the standard-sized image looks a little over-sharpened - areas where this is most noticeable include the upper portion of the hind left leg and the grass in the foreground. The larger version does not appear over-sharpened at all to me.

Cheers...thanks for sharing this (and taking the time to re-work and re-post the image)

Brad

I love the texture apparent from the details in the pronghorns fur. I too would crop the dark line of trees from the top.

The animal stands out well against the grass background. The band of dark tree trunks in the background do not add to the image.

These are some of my favorite animals to shoot because of their distinctive markings. I like your capture, but the first thing that jumps out as a must-crop are the trees. They are distracting and add nothing to this otherwise great portrait.

Repost looks better Richard. Still looks to need a touch more brightening in the dark areas of the face (nose, eyes, and base of the horns.
