Lots of nice autumn abstracts being posted. Here's mine. Patterns created by geese swimming outside frame. Cropped vertical from original landscape orientation. Mill Creek MetroParks, Youngstown, oh. Nikon 700, 80-400 @ 400, 1/125, f7.1, iso 200, cs4.

This is lovely Scott - reminds me of stained glass. Great colors and patterns.

Makes me think of stained glass also. This is very nice, Scott. I like the soft colors and the really interesting pattern. Good work!

A lovely abstract Scott. I tend toward a vertical eye so this presentation is right up my alley. Well done!

I love the glass-like look here, as others have also noted. Good distribution of colors, nice abstract overall.

Fantastic abstract, Scott. The shapes and your composition are so very unique and really set this apart from other water reflection abstracts. Really well done.

Well seen and executed. Stained glass is a great way to describe this. Part of me wants this to be a bit sharper but the other half likes it just fine.

Scott,

Stained glass it is! What a kaleidoscope of color! The patterns are wonderful too. Wow, this is just fantastic. Makes me very envious and wanting this opportunity! Beautifully captured.

This is great, love the color and the pattern created in the water is like looking through a microscope at some cells.

Stidied the image then read the comments and it seems I had the same initial reaction as others in thinking it resembled stained glass. Very interesting and unique pattern. I'm wondering if it could use a titch more contrast? Killer as is. :toast:

Note: Just noticed the location, I am originally from northern Ohio and also loved doing hte reflected colors in the MetroParks and CVNP.

After seeing quite few shots like these over the years, I have to say that this one really stands out for me. It has great flow and the rounded patterns reminds me of bottle bottoms but also stained glass. I think the color palette is unique and beautiful. I'm surprised you got such blur @ 1/125. Sweet image!
