Elephant herd on the run

This herd happened to be very scared and noisy, I believe, they were attacked possibly by a Tiger, on the riverbed. One of the frames from this series, show the injured skin of elephant.
They were screaming so loud and running so fast, that it confused my driver, who presumed that elephants were going to the river. I just managed to stop him in time. Had no time to check the camera settings.
Thank you so much for your kind attention & views!

I get a sense of the urgency of the elephants from this photo. To get the detail you have a 1/50 is amazing. Well done. Too bad you couldn't use a high SS to help reduce the blurring. For a grab shot this is very well done. Thanks for sharing.

Cool shot Jagdeep. I particularly lik ethe sense of motion and the fact that each individuals' eye is visible. The blur is somehow acceptable to me here since thehead/eye of the front one seems to be sharp and further the blur adds to the sense of motion. :toast:

This does not feel like a grab shot! There is a sense of panning to keep up with the action that I think works fine. You have captured the emotion of a mad dash. Good work! I think the four animals have positioned themselves wonderfully in the frame. I really like that the right side elephant has a bit of extended trunk, and that the big one on the left has a trailing tail. I think the composition as presented is superb. :toast:

Jagdeep, you have succeeded in capturing the sense of urgency and panic in the herd superbly!
