Mantis shadow shot through a leaf. It is something I had envisioned doing for a while, but lighting and opportunity had escaped me so far. Stillnot sure it is what I wanted, but it is close. I wish I could have gotten both forearms extended.

Canon 5D Mk2, handheld 100mm macro, f10, 1/80s ISO 200

The only thing this needs is the spooky music! I am impressed that the mantis is completely on the leaf. Good silhouette.

Cool shot - a real eye grabber with the vibrant greens and distinctive silhouette. Just wish that the upper right were a little sharper, but that's just a minor nit.
