Nice image. I like the late golden light. I also like the weeks that the bird has along with the catch.

Love the lighting on the subject, I would clone out the background swirl by the feet..really small nit. but It would clean up the image. :toast:

Beautiful light on a nice pose Ronnie. Perfect exposure, just the right amount of motion blur in the wingtips for my tastes and I also like the reality of the "extras" grabbed with the fish. Another wonderful image.

I've seen this behavior from time to time and I can say that it can be hard to get the egret in such a nice 'pose'. This one is about perfect. The fish and stuff in the bill and the bit of debris in midair front of the feet put it over the top. Congratulations on another fine photograph, Ronnie.

Almost an ethereal quality to it Ronnie - I can visualise things happening in dreamy slow motion.

Guess I have to buy a truck and a bean bag. The images you have reworked lately and posted have been outstanding to say the least! Keep 'em coming. :wavey:

Nice image Ronnie, although IMHO the left wing is abit blown out, but the overall image is fine. Thanks for sharing.

Ronnie,

Great light! I took a very similar shot a few days ago.It was overcast and the BG was a dull grey. I thought of posting it but thought it lacked pizzaz. After seeing this I can see that I was right. This one is very nice!
