Short Billed Dowitcher

Another short billed dowitcher from the last shoot in Gulfport on Sunday, maybe the same bird I shot on Saturday. The original was poorly framed, and unfortunately no more room at the bottom, so I cropped bottom right to about 60% of the orginal. Larger image included.

Olympus E-3 ZD300 F2.8 +EC20 Wimberley I, ISO 400 1/1250 f5.7 0.0EV

Very nice, Bill. I always seem to get these guys with their bill jammed three inches into the mud. I especially like the sweet light.

I like this as posted Bill, the pattern in the water is very interesting and I like the pose & eye contact of the dowitcher

Hi Bill,
Another nice shorebird shot. Details and light look good. Cool background with those ripple patterns.
