Not liking the composition too much, heavy on the right side. I played around with a few cropped versions but in the end maintained the original ratio cropping up just a little from the left. I found the colors, reflection and light fog very appealing. Comments welcome, thanks for looking. Larger version included.

I really like the atmosphere and mood of this. The somewhat centered tree is a little bothersome. The low hanging fog looks great, as does the calm, peaceful water. Nicely done.

Hi Bruce,
I like the colors in the image but the composition makes me lose interest quickly. I agree with Bill about the centered half-tree being a problem it breaks the flow of the image (to me).

I think this works OK. The darker top and bottom edges frame the light in the center quite nicely. Tree trunk doesn't bother me as it's located in this lighter part of the image and so it doesn't pull my eye away from it.

Wonderful conditions captured nicely. Might have recomposed slightly to get the large trunk a little farther from the center of the image. Color and processing are just perfect.

Love the mixture of subtle color variations captured here. I think the comp feels pretty good, but can see why you feel it is a little right side heavy. What about a little color dodge along the left bank vegetation and reflection? That might give the left side a little more pop and weight. Nice work!

Perfect PNW colors and mood. The detail revealed by the larger version is wonderful. I agree that the image as a whole might work better without the primary tree trunk quite so centered.
