Elephant vs safari truck

Haven't posted here before but this seem to fit the theme. Taken at Ngorongoro crater last year. We stopped about 500m away when we saw this lone bull ahead. The vehicle behind us decided to get a closer view. It stopped about 50m from the bull. The bull however had other idea and decided to walk right up towards the truck. The driver had no choice but to back up to get out of the way of the bull. This bull was big and could have easily topped the truck if it wanted to. I am not sure why the driver of that vehicle decided to intrude on the personal space of the bull; perhaps its was to please his clients for a good tip. Not sure if that ploy worked as 2 of the 3 occupants in the truck were really scared and quickly sat down shortly after this shot.

It is close! Nicely exposed and composed. Thanks for sharing.

I wouldn't want to be in that vehicle. I think this image speaks volumes as to how much we take the wildness of wildlife for granted and think they (the animals) will be as happy to see us as we are to see them.

I really like that the elephant has a foot in the air and is obviously moving toward the people!
