This fellow popped up over a hill right in front of me, and I had to back up to get his whole head in frame. Would have liked still more room, but he didn't hang around long enough for more backing up.

Lovely portrait Sandy, those horns are very impressive.

A very solid portrait Sandy, I love the eye-level perspective. Sharpness and exposure are just right. However, if the BG allowed it (and I think it did) I would have stopped down a bit for more DOF on the subject. :toast:

Nice portrait Sandy, Nice background. I guess he's been in a battle or two
judging by the broke off horn.

Very nice detail Sandy, I like the dof as is but a little more would work too. Just a tad tight in the frame, at least at the bottom for my taste. I like the color of that background a lot. There is perhaps a slight yellow color cast, not sure if correcting it would improve it thought as it is very attractive as is.

Lovely, well composed portrait, perhaps a bit more DOF to obtain more detail on the muzzle/horns may have been beneficial.

Very nice light and detail Sandy. I love the BG, but like a couple others stated, might have stepped down to maybe 6.3 from that distance to get more in focus. I think the BG would have still been smooth with that set-up. Either way...I still like this a lot!

Nice capture. I like the low camera angle, eyes, lower teeth, and character in the horns. Great shot!
