I like the golden hues in the water.

Hmm, this is a tough one to critique. I really like what you were going for here, its a great subject and you had a good eye to pick it out---but the image ultimately falls flat for me, for a number of reasons: 1) Not sure about the ss, more texture in the water might have been useful here, and the reflections (the golden hues) might have stood out better 2) I think the main leaves occupy a bit too little space, a tighter crop might have been better. 3) the top leaves seem OOF, although that might have been the water--just a bit confusing.
Everyone will see this differently, that's just my take.

This is a beautiful photo. I love how the golden colors in the water reflect the gold in the leaves. The soft cotton candy feel of the water gives the image a dreamy quality which is nicely counter balanced by the roughness of the boulder. Also love the color combo--blues in the rock and gold in the water and leaves. I think this is a lovely image.

Thanks everyone. To create this image, I gather a large quantity of yellow leaves from the surrounding area, and I timed the release of the leaves with the shutter open. I had to use a neutral density to slow down the water without the scene being too bright. When I slowed down the water and the leaves, they streaked a lovely golden colour in the water!

This works for me! I have tried many of these and they are harder to pull off than one might think. This is better than any of my attempts.
