Cool foreground elements. Really shows off the season well. I think the waterfall could use just a tad bit of brightening to make it stand out a bit more. Very cool photograph.

Nice shot Daniel. I like the yellow foreground leaf which provides a nice anchor to the scene. The top to bottom sharpness looks great.

Love it! Perfect water movement and excellent comp.
But you say 3-shot composite? My 17-40 changes crop quite a bit when I move focus on it. How do you blend them together?

Great comp, the fg leafs really anchor the image. Interesting way to get DOF. I would have focused on leafs at f/22 to hyperfocal.

That's one really sweet shot Daniel! Totally personal opin, but I might crop it right across from the top of the fallen log to eliminate that little bit of sky. Lovely colors, texture and detail.

Daniel - Fine image - detail and lighting excellent. I might have composed / cropped of the bright area top L as it takes my focus out of the main part of the image. Perfect shutter speed selection and blend job.

Daniel,
Great waterfall shot! Love it! The leaf in the FG really makes the image! I agree with the others that perhaps a tad bit of brightening could help the falls, and the sky may detract, but thats just my opinion. All in all a superb shot!

Wonderful comp and shutter speed. The FG leaves really add a lot to this. Well done.

Nice shot with great fg. I think the suggested crop might crowd the top of the wf too much. I might try cloning out the sky, but it is a large area to remove unnoticeably. Worth a try though. Overall very well done.

Hakon - you are rignt, in order to combine for DOF I had to use a program that accounts for the different crop from forground focus to background - Helicon Focus. Greg - I also have a version at f22/hyperfocal at highter iso, but didn't like it as well.

Daniel,
I like image very much. I think I'd like it more without the leaves in it all and just cropped above them. They are so big in the fg it makes the whole scale look "off" to me. Just a personal opinion. Most people really seem to like as is. Overall, your colors and processing look great, including the fg blend.

Excellent comp and great depth. Sky in back is just a bit distracting.

Stunning, Daniel - the smaller version doesn't do it justice like the larger. Only thing I would suggest is to brighten the falls just a bit more - a tiny suggestion
