Fightin' Willets

While walking to one of my shooting spots at Bolsa Chica had two sunny mornings after a few days of overcast and fog. I came upon two Willets who looked like they were fighting. Well because of my being so new to birds and bird photography, I was not too surprised a few moments later that they had other intentions. I like the way the wings of one kind of encircle the other. Comments and suggestions are appreciated

Harry,

I believe they are in love! I had the opportunity to photograph similar behavior this spring! Nice capture! :toast:

Harry,

Love the behavior you captured, even though the bird in the front is facing away there is a tension I like in the image caused by the interaction of the willets.
