Ray Of Light

The mountain on the right (1.293 mt) with the strange top is a symbol for local people, the meaning of his name "Perd'e liana" is lost in the mists of time. This photo was taken at dawn at 5 am, after an hour of off-road to reach there. The light, stones, silence, all was mystical.

Wow, really some beautiful light spread by the mist. It must have been great being there in person, as you say.

This does indeed look mystical with the great light. I really like your composition too.

Loved the warm light diffused through the mist.
Another alternative composition of the same image would be to crop off 30% of right & bringing it to almost square aspect ratio.
Just my thoughts.

Tough light, but you handled it well. I almost wish there were a little more foreground at the bottom of the frame.

Very nice, Alessandro. The rays coming trough the peaks are lovely.

Beautiful glowing and directional light. Love the contrast between the diffused glow and the strongly textured foreground.

Excellent detail in the foreground and beautiful warm light in the background. What more can you ask for?
