From Vierra WL right into the sunrise. Nothing special, just a little different! Not sure what they were looking at...but I like the poses.

50D, 500mm, Iso640, F4, 1/8000 LARGER version posted, too.

I like it Sharon. Personally I would like to see it as a totally black silhouette by lowering the brightness of the darks or increasing contrast, either way. Another thing you could do is experiment with two version and increase the reds/oranges to give another look. I like the peach mellow look too. Neat image with lots of options for other versions. :wavey:

High Sharon,
Very interesting silhouette and love the attention of the birds looking down. I agree with Bryan that silhouettes work better with totally black tones.

Really neat. The poses of the birds are great here Sharon. I too vote for blacking out the silhouette.

Sharon,

I love the poses of the ducks and how they appear to be looking at something down on the ground, the hues of the background are exquisite and the texture of the outer parts of the palm is great, I agree with the others and think darkening the ducks & tree would give this image more impact.

I agree with the comments regarding totally black silhouettes Sharon. I'm generally not a huge fan of silhouettes but I like this one more than many. I think it's because of the complete separation of the two ducks and their similar, stepping-stone poses. I can imagine an entire row of them, flowing all the way to the bottom of the frame. Weird of me, I know...
