The S-curve swash of color get my attention immediately. The droplets are a nice touch. It'd difficult to tell just where the plane of sharpest focus resides, but that is OK because the shape is what it's all about.

I like your plane of focus and composition in this Craig, also the colors. I wonder if carrying the dof a little deeper would have made the dominant S shape stand out more in the image. Don't know of course. An interesting image.

The form (shape) displayed in this shot is wonderful. I know how popular extremely shallow DOF is for flora shots, but in this case, I think I would like to see a bit more of the details of this lovely form and the textures of the petal and drops.

Craig:
Nice sweeping curves and color. Like the silky bg. Not sure whether the drops add or detract from the image but a smooth surface petal may be more soothing. Not sure though. Anyway its a lovely abstract.

I like this a lot, Craig. The curves and colors are amazing, and the rain drops add a lot, IMHO, to this fine image.

Love the tones in this, Craig - a splendid interplay between the reds and yellows. The droplets give it an extra something - very nice image.

Craig: Nicely seen and captured. The S curve is especially pleasing. Well done.>=))>
